Sol'una is a highly detailed skirmish level miniature wargame and role playing game. We call that Tactical Role Play.
The core mechanic uses a unique method of dice grouping and flipping to score
success coupled with a multi-phase simultaneous activation based action
mechanism that requires a greater degree of risk assessment and management than
many other comparable games. Sol'una is an elegant, thinking game, for an
elegant and rich universe.
Players can create their own characters and submit them to the adventure,
romance and danger that is the Sol'una space, or choose to be agents of one of
the many factions, empires and organisations that are all trying to control
their part of the universe.
Pitted against the characters will be Beings of extroadinary power and
intellect, nefarious villians, terrible monsters, secret agents, femme fatales,
governments, militaries, pirates, smugglers, primitives, the dreaded Intergalactic Migration Board, or a strike team from the opposing alliance faction.
The conflict of ideals, fought with weapon and mind, will decide the fate of the
stars.
