Damsel Book Two - Sadomax vs Gomorra Playtest 

Using the 1st Draft Army Lists, two standard 100AP Slaughs fight in a tunnel sytem.

Errata in the forum was used.

Tunnel Rules

Instead of a normal meadow, the Unseelie fight each other in the tunnels and caverns beneath the moutains. Roll D6, the result is the number of tunnel walls. Assign the numbers 1-4 to each edge of the gaming table, and 5 and 6 to any other set of opposite ends.

Then roll 3D6 (D6 of one colour, 2D6 of another). The lone colour result is which table edge the wall is, the other two are the length of the wall in inches (width is no more than 1/2 this at any point) from the table edge. The wall can be placed anywhere along the edge and be heading towards the opposite edge up to an angle no more than 22.5 degrees.

Repeat until all walls have been placed.

Glass Vials: 3" range. Effect lasts until end of next combat round. Roll D6 per hit.

Veroca can only attach herself to a Unit of Lusht Maidens if any remain in battle. Even if not attached to a Unit engaging in a Gomorra Act, her presence on the Meadow adds 1 Gomorra Point.

The Battle

The Gomorra Slaugh deploys in both tunnels with the Dallag protecting the left tunnel while the rest of the Slaugh is in the right, facing the entire Sadomax Slaugh as it emerged from around a bend.

Turn 1
The Sadomax advance quickly and widen their line. The Haegs take the left, the Dhrow the centre and the Dallag mass shambles towards their own kin on the other side.

The Gomorra Dallag head towards the Sadomax Dallag in turn, as they are both the largest ‘sense’ to each other. The stone-skinned offspring moves slowly to block the right flank The Haegs spread out and cover the Lusht Maidens behind, who joined by the two Heroines fill the torpid air with wicked noise and sight, gain 9 Gomorra points.

Turn 2
The Sadomax continue to rush ahead, wanting to break the thin line of defenders before the Lusht Maidens build up too much carnal energy. They will still have to wait a turn as the Gomorra Haegs and Offspring halt and wait mere feet from their black and white body pierced foes – perhaps afraid of the torture they could soon suffer if they are captured alive. Kuxla, shinning white and infused with boiling heat, reluctantly orders the Lusht Maidens to case their Act and join the line; she does not want to be premature and waste the rising storm.

In the join of the tunnels the Dallag blindly crash into each other. The Sadomax polearmed Dallag score 5 hits and suffer 3 in return to have an advantage of 2 and follow up both of the destroying 1 stand of Gomorra Dallag.

The Sadomax Dhrow toss coloured glass vials at the Lusht Maidens and hit twice covering the already slick maidens with fluorescent juice that causes A-2. Vuloxita uses her chain and sends the Offspring staggering back, but unhurt.

Turn 3
Both Slaugh’s Dallag clamber into each other again. The Gomorra Dallag, with more space begin to outflank the Sadomax. Vuloxita and her Haegs charge the Gomorra Haeg and Offspring and both retreat without fighting, afraid of the torturous reputation of the Sadomax, who rush forward and contact the Haeg. Mastillixa commands her Dhrow to do the same, wanting to bring the perverted maidens into her torture chambers where she can show them the true meaning of ecstasy.

The Lusht Maidens and their Heroines flee before the white Unseelie Dhrow unable to stand up to the terrible yet beautiful sight.

The Gomorra Dallag are pushed back once only and the Sadomax fail to follow up. The ebony Haeg slash and stab, but neither side can inflict more hits on the other and they stay locked together in battle.

Turn 4
The Offspring fails to join the fray, unable to shake the visions of torment that would be inflicted upon her. The Lusht Maidens make up for their earlier fright and charge in screaming and the Dhrow easily stand to take them. The Sadomax Haeg seeing the Offspring’s trepidation flank the Haegs they are fighting and the Dallag continue their struggle.

The Sadomax Dallag continue to push their foes to the wall of a tunnel and almost certain destruction. Destruction is what the Sadomax Haeg reap against the Gomorra Haeg, capturing them all and branding them quickly for the painful pleasure after the battle.

Mastillixa accepts Kuxla’s challenge for a Duel, eager to add the Heroine to her racks. Kuxla uses her Glamour to cancel a Hit against her if she looses; Mastillixa increases her A+1 with 1 Glamour point and the other three decrease Kuxla’s D-1. Kuxla scores 2 hits but takes a massive 6 and falls into Mastillixa’s leering clutches. Veroca’s presence stops the Lusht Maidens from fleeing the tunnel, which would have certainly ended the Gomorra’s chance of victory.

The Lusht Maidens use their pent up heat to give themselves Succubi (Dhrow D-1) and Frenzy (reroll misses) and score 5 hits against 3. The heat frenzied Maidens follow up once and destroy a Dhrow Stand; the rest are pushed back twice, lucky to escape the groping ebony maidens.

Turn 5
The Dallag side show continues. Mastillixa rallies her shaken Dhrow with the crack of whip and rake of her sharp nails. They charge again the again the Maidens can’t stand and are pursued. Vuloxita and her Haegs surround the Offspring.

Another Gomorra Dallag stand is trampled leaving the Unit tottering on the edge of panic. Veroca denies Mastillixa the chance of another victim by retreating from the duel. Mastillixa, grinning cruely, turns her attention to the Maidens and falls about them.

The Lusht Maidens have used up their Gomorra Points and have to fight the Dhrow without the aid of their obscene magic. Without the heat they are able to hold the Dhrow but when Mastillixa thrusts into them they break and run and only some escape by fleeing down the dark tunnel. The rest are bound and gagged and piled at Mastillixa’s feet.

The Offspring survives thanks to her tough skin but still finds herself cornered and surrounded.

Veroca decides that with all of her maidens and Haegs in the hands of the enemy and not wishing to find herself a captive as well, turns her face and runs leaving the rest of the Slaugh to be captured or killed.

For Mastillixa the victory is complete! With her foot she turns over Kuxla, already imagining the screams she will force from the Heroine’s white mouth.

Opinions

Glamourous Units and Heroines are battle winners and the terrifying reputation of the Sadomax Slaugh means they have a lot of Glamour. Vulotixa, a mid-level Heroine was able to turn the Gomorra right flank because the Gomorra damsels didn’t want to be in her way. Mastillixa was even more terrifying and her melee ability won a duel and routed the best Gomorra Unit single-handedly. As a result the Sadomax Glamour bonus may be decreased.

The Lusht Maidens Gomorra Act ability proved its worth by winning the melee it used its points. However their expenditure must be carefully chosen as the Unit was destroyed when it had no points left to increase its profile. The narrow fighting where only 1 Stand was involved didn’t help either as the massive number of hits caused against it rippled down the column. 9 Gomorra Act points can purchase good profile increases and abilities. The climax test may be increased to allow the Unit to store more points, enough for two bounds safely (although there is always a risk of all die being low).

The Dallag’s naturally lumbered to each other as they were by far the largest Units in the tunnel. Their fighting was going the Sadomax’s way but only because the Sadomax Unit was larger and equipped with Polearms to give it the melee advantage. Otherwise the fighting would have been a draw, suitably so.
