The smooth lines of the stellar cutter Erte
difted across the ebony satin of space, a tiny spec of silver glitterng like one of
the innumerable stars. The ship was slowing, jets of air struggling furiously for
life in the empty vacuum, and from a different angle - the persepctive of the Erte
and its quintet of socialite adventuers - the cause of the reaction grew into significance;
a massive yet broken star liner, the Empire State, lost for over a hundred years spiraling
out of control, orbited by a chain of debris. And beside it, just a fraction of its
size was another, but common, vessel.
"Some one think that they are going to claim our
prize," said Benedict, the tall platinum blonde in command of the Erte. "I shall have
something to say about that!" and from her sable coat she withdrew the long barrel
laser pistol that had been a relic in her family for nearly half a dozen generations.
The grip was filigried with gold and smoky cobalt swirls wound along the barrel.
"There's a dock on the other side. If we're lucky
they haven't seen us and we can get the drop on them," the Erte's Pilot, Cassandra
said.
"Do it quickly, the rest of us will be in the airlock."
Benedict returned the priceless weapon to its holster
and quickly exicted the cockpit for the airlock where the others were arming themselves.
As she did she actived her force shield, surrounding her in a faint nimbus of
sparkles, and let the andrenaline fill her veins.
So'luna is a one or more player classic Space Opera
wargame in a 1920-30s Art Deco and Art Nouveau setting with influences from Asimov,
anime and cinema. Games pit small teams of exceptional adventurers and socialites
against each other or against vastly superior forces from the military or
organised crime, to possibly one of the impossibly powerful Gackts of legend. The
setting is only limited by the imagination of its players...
Sol'una uses a grid gameboard as the typical surface
allowing games to be played in convenience and with any kind of environment. It can
also be played on a regular tabletop with only minor conversions to the rules.
You can read the game rules and learn more about the
Sol'una universe by clicking on the menu items on the left and right.
Enjoy your stay.
